Dulce De Leche Is A Sweet Addition To Many Foods And Beverages

Hi, my name is Tara Anderson and if you need to know anything about food suppliers, you can read it here in my blog. I became interested in food suppliers when I watched a show about it on television. I had never really thought about where restaurants get their food and while watching the television program I became very interested in these types of companies. After watching the show, I did some research on my own and I learned even more information about food suppliers and how they operate. To enlighten others about food suppliers, I decided to write this blog that explains everything in detail. I hope that you find it just as interesting as I do.

Dulce de leche is a traditional South American dessert sauce made by caramelizing sugar in whole milk. Dulce de leche has a sweet taste and a thick texture. It can be used to add a burst of unexpected flavor to many foods and drinks that you might serve with your wholesale guava spread. Dulce de leche is available in cans in grocery stores or specialty coffee shops. Here are some ways that you can use dulce de leche when you prepare foods and beverages at home:

Dulce de Leche Glaze for Meats: Use dulce de leche as an ingredient in a glaze for meats such as ham, pork chops, veal chops, and poultry. You can create a simple glaze for ham with dulce de leche, mustard, garlic, and cayenne pepper. You can also create a glaze for chicken, duck, or turkey with dulce de leche, orange juice, and dried chiles. These glazes can be brushed on your meats before grilling and served with your cooked meats during a meal.

Dulce de Leche Sauce:  Use dulce de leche as a sauce for crêpes, pancakes, and other baked goods. Dulce de leche is thick and sweet and can be used alone or blended with cream or half and half. Dulce de leche is also available with chocolate for another taste variation. Dulce de leche can be added to cheesecake and sugar cookie recipes for an unusual taste. Sprinkle chopped and toasted almonds or chopped walnuts on top of dulce de leche sauce to add crunch and texture to desserts.

Dulce de Leche Smoothie:  Create a smoothie with dulce de leche, banana, and ice. Dulce de leche can also be added to plain Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream for a mid-day snack or after dinner dessert. Add protein powder to your dulce de leche smoothie to create a smoothie that will give you energy at lunch.

Dulce de Leche Creamer:  Blend dulce de leche with full cream or half and half to sweeten plain or flavored coffee. Dulce de leche is good with iced, cold-brewed coffee. Blend dulce de leche with ice cream and coffee or espresso for a coffee latte at any time of day or evening.

Dulce de leche can be used in any recipes that ask for sweetened condensed milk. Once you try it in a few recipes, you will think of many other foods and beverages where you can add dulce de leche. It is rich enough to use when you have special guests and easy enough to use in everyday recipes for yourself and your family. Keep a few cans of dulce de leche in your pantry to have on hand to spice up your cooking, baking, and beverages at any time.
